McCarthy suffered the hand injury while taking a punishing sack from Brian Burns at the end of the first half. He didn’t see Burns coming and was decked, losing the ball in the process. New York recovered it and took it to the house for a touchdown. McCarthy left the game right after the play and was ruled out during halftime. Max Brosmer will take his place in the lineup in the second half.

As Rapoport notes, expect plenty of Nick Chubb, who is expected to play through a rib injury today. Chubb should indeed lead the backfield, but it wouldn’t be surprising for Jawhar Jordan to see some work as well. Jordan ran for 101 yards on 15 carries with Marks going down early last week. As the top back versus a dead-on-arrival Raiders squad, Chubb is in the RB3 ranks for Week 16. Jordan is a high-risk RB4.

Audric Estime is expected to function as the Saints’ lead back against the Jets with Kamara sidelined, though Evan Hull will mix in on passing downs. Estime can be played as a touchdown-dependent flex option in 12-team leagues while Hull is a desperation play in deeper formats.

Fields will function as the team’s emergency QB3 as Tyrod Taylor backs up Brady Cook, who’s making his second NFL start. Fields has likely played his last snap with the Jets. Mason Taylor (neck) being sidelined should open up more snaps and pass routes for TE Jeremy Ruckert, who this week signed a contract extension with the Jets.

The Bengals also had Higgins see a concussion expert to confirm his clearance and give Higgins extra reassurance. Higgins was listed as questionable on Friday but will be active when the Bengals release their inactives. Facing a defeated Dolphins squad, Higgins should be able to create a few big plays in Week 16, keeping him in the WR2 ranks.

Williams and the Bears managed just nine offensive points through the first 58 minutes of the game, but an onside kick recovery with less than two minutes to go kick-started one of the more memorable comebacks we will see this season. Williams came up clutch late in the game, completing 6-of-8 passes for 53 yards on the Bears’ final possession in regulation, and capping the drive with a six-yard touchdown pass to rookie UDFA Jahdae Walker. After the Packers’ turnover on downs on the first possession of overtime, Williams again came up clutch. On the fourth play of the Bears’ first overtime drive, Williams found DJ Moore in single coverage downfield, and hit him with a beautifully thrown 46-yard strike to end the game and propel the Bears to a comfortable two-game lead in the NFC North. Williams struggled for much of this game, but the late-heroics were a prime example of what made him the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft. With his Bears now sitting at 11-4, Williams will look to push his team to a 12th win next week against the 49ers. He’ll be a mid-QB2 in the fantasy championships next week.

Given the nature of the hit that Love suffered in the second quarter of Saturday’s game, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Love took a hard shot to the head from Bears defensive end Austin Booker and was immediately removed from the game before later being ruled out. Love’s day ends with a passing line of 77-0-0 on 8-of-13 passing. His best drive came on the Packers’ opening possession of the game, but it stalled in the red zone after a failed pass on fourth-and-one led to a turnover on downs. Backup QB Malik Willis took over for Love following his injury and will draw the start in Week 17 against the Ravens if Love is unable to go.

For the first time in 20 years, there’s a repeat winner of the AFC East. Barkley was as good as he’s been all year, and the stinger that bothered him earlier in the week didn’t appear to bother him in this contest. His long gain was an impressive 48-yarder that featured a disgusting spin move to avoid a tackle for loss, but he was able to consistently gash the Washington front in the Saturday win. Barkley will be back in action in Week 17 against the Bills with an extra day of rest.

Mariota injured his hand on the first drive of the third quarter, and he’s been replaced by Josh Johnson. He was also evaluated for a concussion and appeared to be limping before exiting, as well. The 32-year-old signal-caller completed 7-of-14 passes for 95 yards before leaving the contest.

Both Watson and Josh Jacobs will be active for the pivotal division showdown against the Bears. Watson should be considered a WR3 for the contest. The Packers inactives for the Saturday showdown will be S Evan Williams, RT Zach Tom, DL Quinton Bohanna, TE Josh Whyle and DL Nazir Stackhouse.
