Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News reports that Cooper Flagg (foot) will return to action on Thursday against the Magic.

Flagg has missed Dallas’ last eight games with a left midfoot sprain. According to Curtis, the rookie will be under a minutes restriction on Thursday. And if everything goes well for Flagg, he may be allowed to take on more minutes in Friday’s game against the Celtics. His return will likely push Khris Middleton or Brandon Williams out of the starting lineup.
Trey Murphy

NOP Forward #25

Trey Murphy III (neck) has been upgraded to probable for Thursday’s game against the Kings.

The late upgrade is good news for Murphy III, who returned earlier this week after missing five games with a shoulder injury. There was some thought that the Pelicans would hold the 25-year-old out against a tanking Kings team, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. As a result, Murphy III is in a great spot for fantasy production.
Anthony Davis

WAS Forward-Center #23

Anthony Davis (hand) has been cleared to begin limited individual on-court basketball activities.

Davis is currently out with ligament damage in his left hand and was traded to Washington despite the injury. He recently met with Dr. Steven Shin, a hand specialist, and was cleared for the limited return to practice. The Wizards released a statement that Davis will be re-evaluated in two weeks, at which time they will have a clearer timeline of when, or if, he can return to the court this season.
Keyonte George

UTA Guard #3

Keyonte George (right ankle injury management) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.

After missing six games due to a knee injury earlier in the month, George has returned and played in three straight games. With the Jazz set to face the similarly tanking Wizards on Thursday, George will get a day off to rest his knee. That means Isaiah Collier will start in an enticing matchup.
Jayson Tatum

BOS Forward-Guard #0

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Jayson Tatum (Achilles) “could make his debut on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks.”

Tatum is definitely coming back this season, and it seems like Friday is the likely date. It makes sense as a bit of a soft landing spot against a Mavericks team that is already looking towards next season. This return date will be less than 10 months after Tatum had surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. Payton Pritchard is already coming off the bench, but the big question will be how much usage Tatum takes away from Jaylen Brown, who is having a tremendous season.
Anthony Edwards

MIN Guard #5

Anthony Edwards is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Raptors due to right foot injury maintenance.

Edwards has been battling some soreness and pain in his foot throughout the season, but he hasn’t missed a game since January 26th. With an off-day tomorrow, it would be a bit of a surprise for Edwards to miss this one. If he does, Ayo Dosunmu would likely move into a starting role.
Pascal Siakam

IND Forward #43

Pascal Siakam (wrist) finished Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers with 29 points (8-of-14 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), five rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer.

After missing three games with a sprained wrist, Siakam played 30 minutes against the Clippers. And he was highly effective, shooting excellent percentages from the field and the foul line. There may not have been any defensive stats to speak of, but most fantasy managers will be happy that Siakam was allowed to play 30 minutes in a blowout defeat. Indiana plays two more games in Week 19, and the good news for fantasy managers is that they don’t have a back-to-back. Hopefully, that means Siakam will be available for both.
Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser

LAC Center #14

Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) will not travel with the Clippers for their two-game road trip to end the week.

Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) injured his right foot during the first half of Wednesday’s win over the Pacers. More will be learned about the severity of the injury on Thursday, and the rookie has already been ruled out for games in San Antonio (Friday) and Memphis (Saturday). If Konan-Niederhäuser has to miss time, Isaiah Jackson would slide into the backup center role. He played 18 minutes against the Pacers, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots.
Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard tallied 29 points (10-of-18 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Pacers.

Leonard only played 30 minutes on Wednesday, with the blowout ending his night after just three quarters. His consistent excellence has made him one of the best players in fantasy basketball this season, with the Clippers’ star last failing to score at least 20 points in a game on November 20. The Clippers play two more games in Week 19, but it’s a back-to-back. With the Spurs being on the slate for Friday and the Grizzlies the following night, it would be unsurprising if Leonard sits out the latter for injury management reasons.
