Glenn had been reluctant to say in recent weeks whether Wilson would return this season, but he has finally confirmed that his WR1 will be shut down for the remainder of the season. Wilson suffered a knee sprain in Week 6 against the Broncos and re-aggravated that same injury in Week 11. The Week 11 injury landed Wilson on injured reserve, meaning he wouldn’t be eligible to return until Week 15. With the Jets in the final weeks of another lost season, there was little reason to force Wilson back on the field and risk another injury. Wilson caught 36 passes for 395 yards and four touchdowns in the seven games he appeared in this season while averaging 8.4 targets per game. This will mark the first time in his four-year career that Wilson failed to go for 1,000 yards, but there’s little reason to believe he won’t be ready to bounce back next season. The Jets have a lot to figure out this offseason, especially at the quarterback position following the failed Justin Fields experiment. Despite the question marks in the team’s QB room, Wilson should profile as a high-upside WR2 in fantasy next season.
  • SEA Quarterback #14
The Seahawks trailed 30-14 in the fourth quarter, and Seattle had a career record of 0-172 when trailing by more than 15 points in that period. Make it 1-172. Darnold threw a couple of egregious picks — one of them in the end zone right into the arms of a defender — but he also showed off his impressive arm strength and ball placement to help Seattle pull off the borderline-miraculous comeback. The 28-year-old’s final throw was a two-point conversion to Eric Saubert — yes, that Eric Saubert — to complete the win. Darnold and the Seahawks now are in control of the NFC, and he’ll be on the QB1 precipice for Week 17 against the Panthers.
  • LA Wide Receiver #17
Adams has been rehabbing this hamstring injury for weeks. He played through it without issue in Week 14 but suffered a re-injury in Week 15. Tonight’s absence was expected. It gives rookie WR Konata Mumpfield a chance to establish himself as a contributor, though expectations must be held in check. He should not be started in re-draft formats. The Rams also declared CB Ahkello Witherspoon, QB Stetson Bennett IV, RB Jarquez Hunter, OL Beaux Limmer and OLB Nick Hampton inactive in Week 16 against the Seahawks.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #3
The deal reportedly includes $40 million in guarantees. Since joining the Jaguars in Week 10, Meyers leads the team in targets, receptions and yards, while scoring the second-most receiving touchdowns, catching 27-of-37 targets for 355 yards and three touchdowns. He is a versatile, inside-outside wide receiver, thriving in head coach Liam Coen’s offensive scheme. It is a healthy payday for a 29-year-old player.
  • GB Running Back #8
Zero practices in three days have this feeling like a sketchy questionable, with only the fact that Jacobs frequently fights to play through injury out there to give fantasy managers much hope. Emanuel Wilson, not on the injury report this week, figures to be on the RB2 line if Jacobs is ruled out ahead of game time. Jacobs would be an RB1, though he’ll likely be on a pitch count as he was last week if he does play.
  • PHI Running Back #26
He got in a full practice and will be good to go in a smash spot against the playing-out-the-string Commanders. Barkley will be a volume-based RB1 in this matchup. The Eagles did establish it fairly well against the Raiders last week with Jalen Hurts more involved in the running game.
  • KC Wide Receiver #4
Rice is on the wrong side of questionable at this point, as is WR Tyquan Thornton (concussion), who will also be sidelined today. The Chiefs will likely attempt to control the game with a run-heavy approach against the Titans, with QB Gardner Minshew under center. Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy and TE Travis Kelce should handle significant portions of the available targets.
  • GB Running Back #8
Per head coach Matt LaFleur, the team will give Jacobs up until gametime before making a call on his status. That means he will be listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report, which will drop later today. Jacobs has not practiced at all this week, which is usually a sign that a player won’t suit up. However, Jacobs has been playing through his knee issues for weeks, and there has been no indication that his injury worsened in Week 15. Fantasy managers should be prepared for him to sit, even if he is truly questionable heading into the weekend. Emanuel Wilson would be in line for a workhorse role and an RB1 ranking if Jacobs can’t go.
  • LA Wide Receiver #17
Adams did not practice at all this week and is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Seahawks. He re-aggravated his hamstring injury on Sunday and returning on a short week was always going to be a tough task, despite the fact that Sean McVay refused to completely rule Adams out. Fantasy managers can expect to be without Adams for Week 16, boosting Puka Nacua even further and giving Colby Parkinson some viability in the red zone. The only other Ram listed on the team’s injury report is DE Braden Fiske, who is questionable with an ankle injury.
  • KC Wide Receiver #4
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Rice “reported concussion symptoms on Monday and entered the league’s protocol.” Chiefs WR Tyquan Thornton is also in the league’s concussion protocol, potentially leaving the receiving corps short-staffed for QB Gardner Minshew against the Titans this week. Chiefs TE Travis Kelce could get a chance to pad his stats, given the state of things, on Sunday.
