  • SEA Quarterback #7
Smith was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday after not appearing on the report at all to start the week. Pete Carroll was non-committal on Smith’s status when talking to reporters, only saying, “We’ll see.” He also told reporters Smith was rested for the final day of practice. Smith should be able to play through the injury, though this is something fantasy managers need to monitor leading up to kickoff. Drew Lock would draw the start versus the 49ers’ vaunted defense. If he does get the nod, every pass-catcher on the roster would take a notable hit from a fantasy perspective.
  • KC Running Back #10
The shoulder injury Pacheco is dealing with is the same shoulder he hurt last year, according to Chiefs beat writer Pete Sweeney. Sweeney also noted that the team is still evaluating Pacheco’s injury, but a stint on injured reserve would be awful for fantasy managers. With players on injured reserve required to miss at least four games, Pacheco being placed on injured reserve before Week 14 would mean he isn’t eligible to return until Week 18. Fantasy managers should be stashing either Clyde Edwards-Helaire or Jerick McKinnon where they can afford to do so, as both could quickly become fantasy-relevant beyond Week 14.
  • GB Running Back #28
Dillon has been limited in each of the Packers’ first two practices and should be good to go for Monday night’s game against the Giants. His Week 14 fantasy stock, however, could take a bit of a hit, as Aaron Jones is also trending toward a return from his knee injury suffered in Week 11. We’ll assume Dillon will be ready to go, barring any unexpected developments.
  • GB Running Back #33
Speaking with the media on Friday, Jones said he hopes to show he’ll be ready to play when the Packers take the field for Saturday’s practice to close out the week. Two straight limited practices to start the week suggest Jones is trending toward playing in Week 13 against the Giants, although we’ll have a better sense of his availability when the team announces their game-day statuses on Saturday. If Jones is able to go, he should have top-24 fantasy upside in his return.
  • HOU Tight End #86
Schultz will now miss his second consecutive game with this hamstring injury, which will put tight end Brevin Jordan in line for another busy day. In Week 13’s matchup against the Broncos, Jordan emerged to catch three passes for 64 yards on five targets and played a season-high 75 percent of the snaps. Jordan will be on the low-end TE2 streaming radar against the Jets.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #85
Brown didn’t practice on Friday, but the same thing happened last week before he ultimately suited up to play against the Broncos. We wouldn’t read too much into Friday’s DNP, as Brown was a limited participant on Wednesday and a full participant on Thursday. Assuming he’s active, Brown will be on the WR3 radar with Dalton Schultz (hamstring) ruled out and Tank Dell done for the season. Offensive tackle George Fant (hip) was upgraded to a full participant on Friday and is also questionable.
  • KC Running Back #25
The former first-round pick will have a chance to lead the Chiefs’ backfield this weekend with Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) officially ruled out. Edwards-Helaire will likely see the bulk of the Chiefs’ rush attempts in Week 14, but Jerick McKinnon, who has run 143 routes to CEH’s 65 on the season, could limit CEH’s fantasy upside. Fantasy managers in need of help in PPR leagues could look to McKinnon as an RB3/FLEX play. CEH would also be on the fantasy radar as a fringe RB2/RB3.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Mostert was a DNP on Thursday, but that’s been par for the course for the veteran running back in recent weeks. With the Dolphins not playing until Monday night, Mostert will likely log another practice on Saturday and be good to go heading into the weekend. His Week 14 status was never in question.
  • PHI Tight End #88
Goedert practiced in full throughout the week and is good to go after missing just three games with a broken arm. DeVonta Smith has been on a tear in his absence, topping 90 yards in all three games and scoring two touchdowns. His usage will likely cool off with Goedert back in the lineup, though fantasy managers can still treat him as a high-upside WR2. Goedert will sit at the back of the TE1 ranks for his matchup with Dallas.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
The expectation was always that Hill would return to practice on Friday. The veteran receiver has been held out of the first practice for the last several weeks as the Dolphins look to manage their WR1’s workload for the final stretch of the regular season. Fantasy managers shouldn’t be concerned over Hill’s Week 14 status. He’ll be good to go against the Titans.
