  • LAR Running Back #23
Opposing defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo had Sean McVay’s number in this one, holding the Rams to just one third down conversion on the evening. That led to a reduced workload for Williams as the team was forced into catchup mode for most of the night. Williams saw a hefty seven targets but dropped one and was subject to off-target throws from Stafford. He saw 100 percent of the team’s available running back opportunities for the second consecutive week, meaning better days are likely ahead for the second-year back.
  • LAR Quarterback #9
The offensive line did Stafford no favors in this one as he was under constant pressure from the jump, taking six sacks and throwing two interceptions on the evening. Cincinnati cam in with a game plan to erase electric rookie Puka Nacua and operate with stunt blitzes up front, a plan from defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo that held the Rams to just one third down conversion all game. The Rams converted a third down and fourth down play on their final drive of the evening which resulted in a touchdown to bring the score to within three points, but ultimately could not corral the onside kick attempt. Stafford limps into Week 4 desperate for his primary playmaker back from injury, but will have to make it one more week at minimum without Cooper Kupp. The Rams head to Indianapolis to face the Colts in Week 4.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Hurts also added 10 carries for 28 yards and a touchdown. Per usual, his rushing score came on a tush-push play. The Bucs did a good job at containing Hurts on the perimeter, forcing him to take short gains on the ground or get rid of the football after extending plays. Though this allowed him to get off 37 pass attempts, it also resulted in a pair of interceptions. A pair of shaky throws aside, Hurts got the job done at the goal line and through the air. He will remain a top-three fantasy quarterback for the Eagles’ Week 4 matchup with the Commanders.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
The reason for the departure has yet to be disclosed, but Higgins went with the training staff to the locker room in the third quarter of the team’s Week 3 game against the Rams. Further update will come following the game. Higgin’s night ends with just two catches on eight targets for 21 yards, a line that includes three drops.
  • PHI Running Back #0
Swift was shut out of the running back rotation in Week 1, seeing just two touches in his Philly debut. Then, with Kenneth Gainwell out of the lineup because of an injury, Swift went for 175 yards on 28 carries in Week 2. The Eagles were expected to ride the hot hand versus the Bucs and that’s exactly what they did. Swift out-carried Gainwell 16-8 until the final drive of the game. Gainwell was used on six low-value attempts to help Philly ice the game. Swift’s big-play abilities have been on full display while running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. Now operating as the Eagles’ lead back, he will project for RB2 fantasy numbers in Week 4 against the Commanders.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
Burrow was notably absent from the team’s inactives list for their Week 3 meeting with the Rams. He’ll give it a go at less than 100 percent while dealing with an aggravated calf injury. Inactive for the Bengals are WR Trenton Irwin, RB Chris Evans, CB DJ Ivey, C Trey Hill, OT Jackson Carman, TE Irv Smith, and DT Jay Tufele. Expect tight end Drew Smaple to step into a more prominent role in the offense with Smith out.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
We are still awaiting official word from the team, who are expected to release their Week 3 inactives in the next 30 minutes, but it certainly sounds like Burrow will be under center for the Bengals despite being at less than 100 percent health. Burrow aggravated a calf injury sustained in camp last week and was reportedly a true game-time decision for the Bengals in Week 3. The 0-2 start might be playing a factor in the decision-making process here, so let’s hope Burrow is able to make it through the game unscathed.
  • SF Wide Receiver #19
Samuel took a hard shot to the ribs in the 49ers’ Week 3 win over the Giants and briefly exited the contest. He returned to finish out the day, but was ruled as being day-to-day by Kyle Shanahan the day after the game. X-Rays were negative for fractured ribs, so Samuel is likely dealing with bruising and soreness. He should have plenty of time to get right for Week 4 against the Cardinals, and could be taking things light before ramping things up on Wednesday.
  • SF Wide Receiver #11
Aiyuk was sidelined for Thursday night’s contest against the Giants, but was back on the field to open the week. Aiyuk has had some extra time to rest his shoulder, which he injured in Week 2 against the Rams, and should have a good chance of playing in Week 4 against the Cardinals. Aiyuk will be a high-end WR3 in that matchup if he’s able to go.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
The Bengals don’t have to make an official decision on Burrow until they announce Week 3 inactives before kickoff. It sounds like Taylor and the team are ready to take things up until the final minute to decide whether or not Burrow will play in what feels like a near must-win game for the 0-2 Bengals. If Burrow is unable to go, Jake Browning is expected to start in a prime time matchup against the Rams.
