  • CLE Quarterback #15
Dorian Thompson-Robinson was back at practice as he works his way through concussion protocol, but he was taking reps with the second-team on Wednesday. That could just be a one-day split since this is DTR’s first practice since suffering the concussion; however, Flacco looked good in his first start of the season on Sunday and could be the steady, veteran presence that the Browns need to claim a playoff spot. As of now, the team has not yet decided on a starting quarterback for Week 14.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that it was too soon after Monday’s game for Lawrence to be practicing; however, he made it clear that this does not impact Lawrence’s potential availability for Week 14. Pederson said the Jaguars policy is to not have players practice if there’s a chance a player can risk further damage to that injury. As a result, it would seem unlikely that Lawrence will practice until later in the week, if at all.
  • PHI Tight End #88
“Dallas in Dallas has a ring to it,” he said on Wednesday. “I’m really glad I’m able to go and put everything else to bed and get out there and play football again.” While the team has yet to officially announce Goedert’s return, his own words make it seem as though it’s a given. While no tight end has stepped up for the Eagles without Goedert, DeVonta Smith has seen a major increase in workload and performance since the star tight end was been sidelined. Since Week 10, Smith has a 33 percent target share and 52 percent of the team’s air yards, compared to a 21 percent target share and 30 percent of the air yards before Goedert got hurt. That’s not to say the Eagles will revert back to using Smith the same way and ignore the recent success he’s had, but he may not fly as high as he has been.
  • CLE Quarterback #17
While Thompson-Robinson is still working his way through the concussion protocol, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that the quarterback would practice on Wednesday. He also said that the team has not committed to a starting quarterback for Sunday and wants to wait to see how the week of practice goes. Fantasy managers should be hoping for Joe Flacco to get another nod under center. Flacco attempted 19 passes that traveled more than 10 air yards last weekend, which was the most by any Browns quarterback in five years. If he plays, Browns receivers have a better chance of making plays and putting up big fantasy days.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #2
The Browns star receiver left Sunday’s game after making three catches for 34 yards and is currently working his way through concussion protocol. We did see Saints receiver Chris Olave clear protocol after one week, so it’s possible that Cooper will return for Week 14, but fantasy managers should plan for him to miss time. On the season, Cooper has 50 catches for 799 yards and two touchdowns. Without him in the lineup, there will be a lot more targets for Elijah Moore and possibly even Harrison Bryant.
  • NYJ Quarterback #2
Tim Boyle got two starts over Wilson before being absurdly cut earlier this week. Trevor Siemian took Boyle’s place in the lineup during the fourth quarter of the Jets’ Week 13 loss to the Falcons. He didn’t fare any better than Boyle, so Saleh is now going back to Wilson as his team’s season circles the drain. Wilson was reportedly reluctant to retake the starting gig after being benched, but it’s hard for him to justify turning down a starting job at this point in his career. Per usual, the Jets’ offense will struggle to put up points, crippling the output of Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson versus Houston.
  • MIN Quarterback #15
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell had talked about making a quarterback switch during the team’s bye week following Dobbs’ four-interception Week 12 meltdown against the Bears. While it’s a good matchup for Dobbs, fantasy managers should expect the Vikings to have a quick hook if Dobbs struggled early against Vegas. Luckily for Dobbs, all-world WR Justin Jefferson is expected to return from his hamstring injury against the Raiders. It’s unclear if Nick Mullens or Jaren Hall will serve as Dobbs’ backup.
  • KC Running Back #10
Pacheco is dealing with a shoulder contusion that’s being “checked out” by the team, per head coach Andy Reid. Unless Pacheco misses late-week practices, he should be fine to suit up as KC’s lead back in Week 14 against the Bills. Pacheco’s touch volume has been fueled by a Chiefs offense that is not nearly as pass heavy as it has been in recent seasons.
  • BUF Tight End #88
Knox has an outside shot to play this week against Kansas City. His return should slow the Dalton Kincaid PPR gravy train as the two tight ends split snaps and pass routes in the Buffalo offense. Knox, who had 15 receptions in seven games before sustaining his wrist injury, is not a fantasy option.
  • IND Running Back #28
Steichen mostly dodged questions about Taylor’s status after Taylor underwent thumb surgery last week. NFL Network reported Taylor would miss 3-5 weeks following the procedure. Fantasy managers should bet on Zack Moss once again taking the Colts’ lead back role in place of Taylor this week against the Bengals. Rotoworld’s Denny Carter highlighted Moss in the Week 14 Regression Files.
