  • FA Safety #20

Ward missed the entirety of the 2025 season amidst allegations of domestic abuse, including a civil suit that found him on the Commissioner’s Exempt List. The move will save the team $750,000 against the cap
  • LA Kicker #92
The team will maintain control of three players that surprised in 2025, including “thiccer kicker” Harrison Mevis. The tendering of exclusive rights free agents ties the three to the franchise through the 2026 season considering they are unable to negotiate with other teams. At least for now, it appears as if the Rams will continue forward with Mevis as their place kicker.
  • MIA Cornerback #4
Kohou’s agents announced the news Monday, which comes exactly seven months, to the day, since he suffered a partially torn ACL that caused him to miss the entirety of the 2025 season. It appears unlikely that Kohou will remain with the Dolphins considering the regime change in Miami this offseason, meaning he will likely be forced into a short-term, prove-it-type contract with a change of scenery heading into 2026.
  • SEA Running Back #36
The transaction ensures both players will be with the team in 2026 as a qualifying tender applied to an exclusive rights free agent precludes them from negotiating with other franchises. The former undrafted free agent running back carved out a significant role down the stretch for the Super Bowl champs as a change of pace option behind Kenneth Walker following the season-ending injury to Zach Charbonnet, albeit requiring the injury to see regular action beyond special teams. Holani provides meaningful depth, at bare minimum. Also tendered was safety Ty Okada.
  • SEA Free Safety #39
The Seahawks tendered a one-year exclusive rights contract to Okada, keeping him with the team through next season. The soon-to-be 27-year-old safety who made the team as a UDFA in 2023 started 11-of-17 games for the Seahawks in 2025, totaling 65 tackles, six pass breakups, and one interception. He’s also a valuable member on special teams, appearing on a career-high 117 special teams snaps last season, per Pro Football Reference.
  • PIT Tight End #88
According to DeFabo, “at least six teams would be interested in exploring the idea” of trading for Freiermuth, but the Steelers have no interest in dealing the five-year vet. Freiermuth had a down year in 2025, catching 41 passes for 486 yards and four touchdowns while seeing the second-fewest targets (54) since his injury shortened 2023 season where he played just 12 games. While the Steelers may not have any interest in dealing Freiermuth, DeFabo says the situation with Jonnu Smith “seems a bit more fluid.” Smith crashed back down to earth in 2025 after breaking out for 88-884-8 in his lone season with the Dolphins in 2024, but he remains under contract through next season.
  • PIT OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #77
Steelers GM Omar Khan said last week that Jones may not be ready for camp. We now know why. The third-year tackle underwent fusion surgery to repair a neck injury he suffered in Week 12 of last season, which undoubtedly puts a giant question mark on his timeline for return. To make matters worse for Jones, the Steelers will need to decide by May 1st if they will pick up the fifth-year option for him in 2027, or if they will allow his contract to expire after 2026. Jones has started 27 of the last 28 games he has played in for the Steelers and will be 25 at the start of next season. His status will be one to monitor as we draw closer to camp.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith is coming off a 113-target season, which marks the second-most targets for him in a season. Berman writes that the Eagles believe they “can create an environment” for Smith to hit another level, with head coach Nick Sirianni saying getting Smith targets “is always going to be important.” The easiest path to Smith seeing more targets would be through an A.J. Brown trade, which may or may not happen. Regardless, any efforts to get Smith more involved could bode well for an offense that’s likely to take more shots through the air after ranking 24th in pass attempts last season.
  • MIA Quarterback #1
Fowler noted, as he did in his post-combine article over the weekend, that Kyler Murray and Geno Smith are the likely “tier-one” options for the Vikings, who are expected to be one of the premier destinations for available quarterbacks this offseason. Tagovailoa, who still needs to be traded or released by the Dolphins, could be a name to watch for the Vikings in the coming weeks, but it sounds like KOC and company will target other players before settling on Tua. Tagovailoa struggled mightily last season on his way to throwing for 2660-20-15 in 14 games, but could bounce back in the right setting.
  • FA Offensive Lineman #60
Glasgow has started 14 or more games in each of his three seasons with the Lions, but became expendable after the Lions went out and acquired Juice Scruggs in the trade that sent David Montgomery to the Texans. Even if Scruggs doesn’t win a starting job in camp, the acquisition made it fairly obvious that Glasgow wasn’t in the team’s plans for 2026. The veteran guard has 136 career starts to his name and will be 34 at the start of next season. He should have plenty of options to land a starting role next season with teams looking to bolster their interior line. Glasgow’s release will free up $5.5 million in cap space for the Lions this season.
