  • NYJ Quarterback #2
Fresh off watching Wilson throw for 136 scoreless yards on 36 attempts — with game announcers questioning whether Wilson should be starting anywhere in the NFL — Saleh said he’s all in on the third-year QB as his guy. There’s no justifiable reason for Saleh to continue running Wilson out there as the Jets’ starter, but as long as he is, Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson are not fantasy relevant.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
Collins took a backseat to rookie Tank Dell in the Texans’ win over the Jaguars. Collins got his first target and reception in the second quarter, then ended the first half breaking multiple tackles to get Houston into field-goal range with a few seconds left. While the quiet outing brings Collins back down to earth after a career-best Week 2, he is still one of the Texans’ top offensive weapons. Collins has WR3 value in a Week 4 matchup against the Steelers.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Dell was connecting with fellow rookie C.J. Stroud all day against the Jaguars. He scored on a 68-yard pass from Stroud and was tackled at the two-yard line on another deep ball. Dell led the Texans in targets with his second-straight game of at least five receptions. Nico Collins, Robert Woods and Dell are all seeing high volume from Stroud in a surprisingly fantasy-relevant Texans offense. Dell is establishing himself as an intriguing flex play against the Steelers in Week 4.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Coming off a Week 2 performance in which he ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns as Miami’s lead back, Mostert split backfield work with rookie RB Devon Achane against Denver. The pair of backs had an all-time outing against a miserable Broncos defense, eclipsing 300 yards on the ground and combining for an unbelievable eight touchdowns on the day. Mostert averaged a healthy 6.4 yards per carry and was pulled in the fourth quarter with Miami up 50 points. Mostert so far this season has proven to be one of fantasy football’s most consequential players. Looks for him to continue sharing carries and targets with Achane in Week 4 against Buffalo.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Despite Jackson’s heroic rushing line, the Ravens ultimately bungled away an easy win at home versus a Colts team with a backup under center. Baltimore put the ball on the ground four times, two of which were recovered by the Colts. They were also gifted two points and the ball with two minutes left when Gardner Minshew walked out of the back of his own end zone. Needing a first down to run the clock out, the Ravens went three-and-out, giving the ball back to the Colts with a chance to tie. A long Matt Gay field goal kicked the game into overtime. The Ravens got two drives in the fifth frame and couldn’t score on either one of them. Jackson’s rushing volume came in part because the team was without J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill entering the game. Gus Edwards eventually left with a concussion. Jackson will look to get the offense on track in Week 4 against the Browns.
  • MIA Running Back
It was one of the most outrageous performances you’ll ever see: A rookie running back who had one rush for five yards the previous week, shredding an opposing defense on the ground and through the air. Achane caught two shovel pass touchdowns and averaged nearly 12 yards per carry, including a 68-yard scamper in the fourth quarter after the souls of Denver defenders had left their bodies. That the Dolphins ripped Denver’s defense on the ground might not be a shock seeing that Miami led the league in EPA per rush coming into Week 3 (they put up more than 300 rushing yards against Denver). The electric Achane, who missed most of August with a shoulder injury, is fully healthy and will be the top pickup in all fantasy formats this week.
  • GB Running Back #28
It was another disappointing outing for Dillon, who is now 0-for-2 in spot starts for Aaron Jones as far as fantasy managers are concerned. Dillon has totaled 96 yards on 27 touchdowns over the last two weeks, and never managed to find the end zone. He did not receive a target in the Packs’ win over the Saints, as Patrick Taylor lead the backfield with four targets. Dillon should regress back to a borderline FLEX play in Week 4 with Aaron Jones likely set to return.
  • HOU Running Back #31
Pierce was running behind an offensive line missing key pieces, leading to 2.2 yards per carry. He was able to punch in a goal-line touchdown and catch three passes, dominating running back touches until late when the Texans led by multiple possessions. Pierce’s efficiency will be low as long as Houston’s offensive line stays banged up, but he is the definitive lead back. Pierce is an RB2 in a Week 4 matchup against the Steelers.
  • IND Quarterback #10
This matchup was madness from start to finish. Minshew was hounded by the Ravens’ pass-rush and surrendered five sacks. With Baltimore’s offense struggling, the Colts were still in the game as they neared the two-minute warning. Backed into his own end zone, Minshew stepped out of the back of the end zone as he planted to make a throw, resulting in a safety. The safety made famous by Dan Orlovsky should have ended the game, but Baltimore ultimately had to punt it back to the Colts after going three-and-out. Minshew completed four straight passes to get Matt Gay into field goal range for a game-tying kick that he connected on. After a few failed drives from both teams in overtime, Gay knocked down his fifth field goal of the day to secure the win. It was far from a flawless game from the backup, but Minshew rallied the troops to a road win against an AFC title contender. Should Anthony Richardson be forced to sit another week because of his concussion, Minshew would rank as a QB2 versus the Rams.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #17
McLaurin looked pretty good in the early going, finding space against the Buffalo secondary. However, Washington was simply not able to get anything going with Sam Howell under constant pressure all game. McLaurin’s usage is a positive even with the poor day overall.
