  • BAL Quarterback #5
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Huntley has made 11 starts in five seasons with the Ravens, also starting five games for the Dolphins in 2024. He brings a level of familiarity with the system and allows the team added consistency should Lamar Jackson go down with injury due to his similar skill set, making the signing a no-brainer for both sides. A career 13-to-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio is less than sparkling, but his dual-threat abilities bring both upside and intrigue should he be forced into action.
  • SF Kicker #18
The deal includes $10 million in guaranteed money and ties Pineiro to San Francisco through the 2029 season. Kicking on a one-year deal in 2025, Pineiro converted all 22 attempts from inside 50 yards, also converting 6-of-7 attempts of 50 yards or more. His 96.6% conversion rate on 29 field goal attempts led the league, bringing stability to a position that long plagued the 49ers.
  • IND Defensive Lineman
It’s a pure player-for-player swap as the Packers further bolster the interior of their second level with Franklin, dealing the former fourth-round defensive tackle Colby Wooden in the deal. Franklin led the league in tackles in 2024 (173) and played the entirety of his eight-year NFL career in Indianapolis prior to the trade, giving the Packers a top tier linebacker to pair with Edgerrin Cooper with Quay Walker due to become a free agent Monday.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #90
The deal includes a whopping $65 million in guaranteed money. Davis is now tied to the Eagles through the 2029 season after becoming the highest-paid nose tackle in NFL history with the extension. The former No. 13 overall pick in 2022 notched the second most solo tackles in 2025 amongst defensive linemen and also contributed five sacks.
  • BUF Guard #66
McGovern has been a mainstay on the interior offensive line for the Bills for the previous three seasons, with the new contract tying him to the franchise through the 2029 season. Long hailed as one of the top pass blocking centers in the league, McGovern will continue to provide protection for 2024’s MVP in Josh Allen.
  • BAL Defensive End #98
It isn’t quite the “Parsons-like trade package,” but it isn’t too far off. Years of being a good solider while playing for one of the league’s more embattled franchises landed Crosby with a perennial contender in the Ravens in exchange for two first round picks in the next two drafts. Crosby, 28, will now join newly minted head coach and defensive guru Jesse Minter in Baltimore, joining a defense that ranked 18th in points allowed and 24th in yards allowed. The Ravens will immediately benefit from adding one of the league’s top Iron Men to the league in Crosby, who has played in 15 or more games in six of his seven seasons in the league, while playing on 900-plus defensive snaps in five of those seasons. Crosby totaled 10 sacks and 28 TFLs for the Raiders last season while also forcing two fumbles and breaking up another six passes. The Cowboys, who reportedly offered a first and second-round pick for Crosby’s services narrowly missed out on landing the star pass-rusher, and will likely look to address the Micah Parsons-sized hole on their defense in free agency in the coming days.
  • HOU Tight End #86
Schultz has never seemed like a perfect solution for the Texans since joining the team in 2023, but they keep coming up with little in the way of alternatives. He’ll likely remain in the low-end TE1/high-end TE2 pool as he enters his age-30 season. It’s hard to say confidently based on early reporting what the long-term cap impact of this is, but the 2027 extension will clash with a void year so perhaps the Texans already felt committed to him for that season in some way.
  • FA Running Back #28
He was released with a non-football injury designation. All the Texans did in the last calendar year when asked about whether Mixon would play in 2025 or 2026 is answer questions with the preface of “we’re not trying to be evasive, but...” So, we’re not trying to be evasive, but we genuinely are not sure if Mixon will play again. He turns 30 in July and is now a year removed from what was a pretty stellar 2024 campaign with the Texans. He surely has the talent to resurface somewhere, but is he healthy? And if not, will he ever be?
  • FA Quarterback
To be clear, the Raiders have not confirmed that they will be taking Mendoza No. 1 overall in next month’s draft. That said, Russini notes that “if the Raiders continue to lean toward” selecting him, their preference is to not start Mendoza immediately. It’s an interesting point to consider, especially with the recent release of Geno Smith, that now puts the Raiders firmly in the market for a veteran QB when free agency officially kicks off next month. Mendoza has 35 college starts under his belt and is fresh off leading Indiana to a national championship and a 16-0 season. It’s not uncommon to hear teams say they don’t want to hand a job a rookie QB, even one that is expected to go No. 1 overall, so we wouldn’t read too much into this until teams start reporting to mini-camp and later training camp.
  • LV Defensive End #98
It was reported on Thursday that the Cowboys “thought they were close” to landing Crosby before other teams came out of the woodwork. That said, the Cowboys, who are curiously interested in a star pass rusher, have not been completely deterred from their efforts to land Crosby. Rumors of multiple first-round picks being offered for Crosby suggest the Raiders could get close to what they hoped for when it was reported they wanted a “Parsons-like trade package” in exchange for his services. Russini also reports the Ravens are “a team to watch” as trade negotiations continue to unfold, while adding the belief is that the Raiders “are willing to work on a deal” to trade the five-time Pro Bowler.
