Quarterback Zach Wilson didn’t look Lazard’s way often, but managed to fit a tight throw between two defenders for a touchdown pass in the third quarter. The Jets would tack on a two-point conversion to knot the game but would not score again. Lazard’s fantasy value is almost entirely tied to his ability to find the end zone considering modest volume with Wilson under center.

The highlight of the game for Hall came in the third quarter when he sprung loose up the middle for a 43-yard gain, only to see Dalvin Cook trudge along to 3.2 yards per carry behind him for the remainder of the game. The Jets backed themselves into a corner in signing Cook, who at this point is just syphoning touches from the more dynamic Hall. Maybe Hall can see a higher rate of touches against the anemic Broncos run defense in Week 5.

The fumble occurred on a botched snap halfway through the fourth quarter and allowed the Chiefs to run out the clock on the subsequent possession, leaving the Jets at a disappointing 1-3 record. Head coach Robert Saleh continues to have his quarterback’s back, but the longer the season goes on without results could force a change of scenery under center. Wilson’s two touchdowns went to Allen Lazard in a tight window and backup tight end C.J. Uzomah in the back of the end zone. Wilson fed his alpha wide receiver, Garrett Wilson, 14 targets but managed just 6.7 yards per completion to the standout second-year pass-catcher. Up next for the Jets is a showdown of mediocrity against the reeling Broncos in Week 5.

Moore fell victim to reduced pass volume but also was not on the same page as quarterback Patrick Mahomes on this night. He continues to play the most snaps of players not named Travis Kelce but has yet to return any meaningful counting stats with the opportunity. His next opportunity to disappoint comes in Week 5 when the Chiefs travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings.

Rice has seen a steady increase to his snap rate over the previous three games and continues to tease fantasy upside without yet delivering fully. For what it’s worth, he is now playing well ahead of Kadarius Toney and Justin Watson and appears to be a ticking time bomb ready to erupt at any moment. Maybe he can finally return a fantasy-worthy score in Week 5 when the Chiefs take on the Vikings on the road in Minnesota.

Valdes-Scantling continues to be an afterthought in the Chiefs vaunted pass offense, routinely running empty downfield routes designed to influence opposing safeties. His snap rates have seen a steady decline as the season has progressed, leaving Valdes-Scantling bereft of any fantasy value until further notice.

The yardage total wasn’t what we’ve grown accustomed to with Kelce catching passes from Mahomes, but the veteran tight end remained the focal point of the pass offense on a night where Mahomes attempted only 30 passes. Kelce could return to dominant fantasy performances as early as next week when the Chiefs travel to Minnesota to face the reeling Vikings.

Pacheco took over the in the fourth quarter with the Chiefs clinging to a three-point lead and padded his counting stats with 43 yards on three receptions. The 5.8 yards per carry came against one of the top defensive fronts in the league, highlighted by a 48-yard touchdown scamper in the first quarter. Pacheco won’t see 20 carries in every matchup, but fantasy managers have to be happy with the output against a tough defense. Up next for Pacheco and the Chiefs is a road matchup with the more forgiving Vikings in Week 5.

Mahomes was uncharacteristically shaky against one of the top defenses in the league but managed to will his team to another victory. The Jets managed just one sack on the evening but routinely made life difficult for Mahomes, holding him to a paltry 63.6 quarterback rating and generating two turnovers off of Mahomes interceptions. He had two additional passes that should have been picked off as well. The Chiefs turned to the ground game in the fourth quarter after generating a turnover of their own near midfield, which allowed them to milk the clock and send the team to a 3-1 record. Mahomes did add a solid 51 yards on the ground, nine of which came on third down with under two minutes remaining to seal the game. The Chiefs head to Minnesota to take on the underperforming Vikings in Week 5.

Belichick said Jones wasn’t benched for a bad performance — which may be true, but Jones was atrocious in this one. He threw for 150 yards and two interceptions, and also lost a fumble. Two of his three turnovers resulted in touchdowns for the Cowboys defense, who harassed Jones and the Patriots all afternoon. Assuming Belichick isn’t pulling a smoke and mirrors act, Jones will start in Week 5 against the Saints.
