  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Watson exited in the fourth quarter with what looked like a bad hamstring injury, but he was seen moving on the sideline and didn’t look to be in too much pain after leaving the field. According to Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky, Watson “did seem to be moving better today during a brief sighting in the locker room,” so it’s possible this is a minor injury. LaFleur said he didn’t know if Watson’s injury would sideline him for multiple weeks like we saw earlier this year, making his status one to watch come Wednesday when the team releases its first injury report.
  • NE Wide Receiver #1
Parker stepped up to lead the Patriots with 64 yards in their Week 13 loss to the Chargers. His 64 yards were his most since Week 1, as he’s cracked 50 yards only twice in nine games. Parker won’t be on the fantasy radar for Week 14 regardless of him suiting up or not.
  • NE Wide Receiver #81
Douglas missed Sunday’s contest against the Chargers with a concussion and will miss Week 14’s primetime matchup against the Steelers if he’s unable to clear concussion protocol. Douglas has caught 36 passes for 410 yards this season and leads the team in receiving yards. Even if he’s active against the Steelers, he’ll be hard to trust as anything more than a WR4 against a stout defense.
  • NE Wide Receiver #7
Smith-Schuster led the Patriots in snaps against the Chargers but only had one catch for 11 yards to show for his efforts. One of the bigger offseason signings for the Patriots this offseason, Smith-Schuster is trending toward being a one-and-done player in New England. The Pats are thin at receiver, meaning he’ll have a chance to suit up on Thursday if active. He’s off the Week 14 fantasy regardless of whether or not he plays.
  • NE Running Back #15
Zeke totaled 92 yards from scrimmage in Week 13’s loss to the Chargers, serving as the team’s lead back after Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) was knocked from the game. Stevenson was listed as a DNP on Monday’s injury report and should be considered a long-shot to play in Week 14 against the Steelers. If Stevenson is unable to go, Zeke would be a fringe RB2/RB3 against a stout Steelers defense.
  • NE Running Back #38
Stevenson was expected to undergo an MRI on his ankle after exiting Sunday’s contest against the Chargers. The team is expecting the MRI to reveal a high-ankle sprain, although no official word on the MRI has been released at this time. Still, Stevenson being listed as a DNP on Monday wasn’t that surprising. With the Patriots playing on a short week, it’s unlikely we’ll see Stevenson play in Week 14 against the Steelers, leaving the door open for Ezekiel Elliott to draw the start. We’ll see how Stevenson progresses throughout the week, but fantasy managers should have backup plans in place for the Pats’ RB1.
  • NYJ Quarterback #2
The story out of Jets camp gets only weirder. Russini reported earlier that Wilson was “reluctant” to return as the Jets’ starter despite the team’s interest in starting him in Week 14 against the Texans. According to Russini, “Wilson remained apprehensive due to perceived injury risk” after Rodgers spoke with him, which is understandable given the current state of the Jets’ offensive line. However, Wilson is rapidly approaching the end of his football career if he doesn’t show anything redeemable over these final five weeks of the season. His time with the Jets is likely nearing an end, and his poor play over three seasons, coupled with this idea that he’s unwilling to start when his team needs him, won’t paint him in a positive light to any potential suitors.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Dell suffered a fractured fibula in the Texans’ Week 13 win over the Broncos, bringing his stellar rookie season to an end. A hand-picked receiver by rookie C.J. Stroud earlier this offseason, Dell’s season ends with 47 receptions for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. The explosive plays he became known for during his time at the University of Houston were quickly translating to the NFL, as Dell averaged 15.1 YPR while hauling in 10 receptions of 20-plus yards. He’ll now begin rehabbing in hopes of being ready for the start of 2024, in a year that could feature a massive jump for a much-improved Texans team.
  • NYJ Quarterback #2
Speaking Monday, Saleh declined to name a starter for next week’s game and commented on earlier reports of Zach Wilson being “reluctant” to play, saying, “Let’s be clear, if he were reluctant to play, he wouldn’t be here.” There could be some truth to that, but Wilson being unwilling to suit up for a coach who has attempted to replace and bench him — while deserved, isn’t all that surprising. The offensive line is also a disaster, and the season is all but lost. Wilson opting to sit out and preserve his health heading into the offseason for whatever future his career holds makes some sense. The Jets are 4-8 and arguably the worst offense team of the last 20 years. Whoever gets the start won’t have any fantasy relevance beyond the skill position players they’re negatively impacting.
  • NO Quarterback #4
This is Carr’s second brain injury in a month. Carr hasn’t missed a start despite multiple injuries this season but could be at risk of missing the Saints’ Week 14 contest against the Panthers. Carr will need to clear concussion protocol if he hopes to suit up, but a rib injury could also sideline him for a period of time. According to Allen, concerns over a shoulder injury to Carr don’t appear as concerning at this time, but there’s no doubting the veteran quarterback has taken a beating this season. If he’s unable to go, we’ll likely be looking at Jameis Winston as the starter against the Panthers.
