The Cowboys were reportedly open to listening to offers for Odighizuwa, who now finds a home with a 49ers team looking to increase their ability to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Odighizuwa has registered 216 tackles and 17.0 sacks in five seasons in Dallas. It was thought to be difficult to deal the veteran considering he recently signed a four-year, $80 million extension prior to the 2025 season, but the two sides got it done.
  • GB Defensive Lineman #97
The deal includes $13 million in 2026, potentially giving Green Bay an early out if the 10-year veteran starts showing signs of aging following his age-33 season. The former two-time Pro Bowler played the 2025 season with the Vikings, registering only 3.5 sacks and 52 tackles in 16 appearances. He did prove healthy last year after playing only three games for the 49ers in 2024 and brings another capable body up front for the retooled Packers.
  • BUF Linebacker #2
The deal includes a whopping $29 million in guaranteed money and ties the former Pro Bowl linebacker to the Bills through the 2028 season. Chubb managed a solid 8.5 sacks in 2025, his first year after a torn ACL that cost the seven-year veteran the entirety of 2024. Injuries have been an issue throughout Chubb’s career, missing 17 games in his first four season with the Broncos before the 17 missed games two season ago with the Dolphins. The Bills now invest significant money after a fully healthy season last year. He’ll join a stacked second level in Buffalo as he looks to regain his Pro Bowl form.
  • FA Quarterback #1
Murray was informed of his impending release over a week ago, but there was still a slight chance that a team would opt to jump the free agency line and trade for him. Nothing materialized and Murray is now officially a free agent. With the Jets, Dolphins, and Colts all addressing their quarterback vacancies, the list of potential landing spots for Murray is barely more than one team long. The Vikings are widely considered the favorites to land Murray, and we expect that deal to be made official sooner rather than later. The Browns and Steelers could both give Murray a call, though it will be hard to steer him away from Minnesota.
  • MIN Running Back #33
The running back takes a pay cut to a base salary of $5.5 million. This move quashes the fantasy value of Jordan Mason, who was looking like he’d head the committee in 2026 by a wide margin. Mason still may wind up leading the Vikings in carries given how often Jones gets hurt, but Jones will probably see at least half the snaps here after agreeing to stay. Jones is more of a high-end RB3 at this stage of his career, as entering his age-32 season he’s started to leave a concerning number of games with injuries and spent time on injured reserve last year.
  • SF Wide Receiver #11
Aiyuk has been on the outs with the team for at least a year now and was never going to return to San Francisco in 2026. Wagoner said the Commanders remain the favorite to land Aiyuk after his release, expected to be a post-June 1 designation. Aiyuk, 27, will cost the Niners around $13.3 million in dead money this year and $21.7 million in 2027. If he signs with Washington, the deal will surely be of the prove-it variety.
  • IND Quarterback #17
It can pay him up to $100 million. Negotiating off the transition tag, this honestly isn’t a big bump for Jones. It sounds like a lot of money because of how quickly the cap has gone up, but it puts Jones 12th among starters if he hits his incentives and 17th if he doesn’t, pending restructures for players like Matthew Stafford and cuts ahead of him for Kyler Murray. Jones enters the offseason as Indianapolis’ QB1, but rehabbing a late-season torn Achilles that will make his status for Week 1 shaky. Adam Schefter reports he’s expected to be ready to play Week 1 and may even be available in training camp, but we’re skeptical of that. Jones is best treated as a mid-range superflex QB2 in fantasy while we wait to see if he’ll be able to run full speed again.
  • NE Wide Receiver
The Patriots released Diggs this month before free agency began. Last year Diggs led the Patriots with a 20 percent target share and finished the regular season with 1,017 yards and four touchdowns. Doubs, Graf said, “can play on the outside. He can make up for a lot of the production over the middle that Stefon Diggs brought last season. He should help the offense’s red zone woes (20 of his 23 career touchdowns have come in the red zone). He can pull down deep balls, which Maye thrives at.” Doubs in 2025 led the Packers with five end zone targets and 17 inside-the-20 targets. He could have some touchdown-based upside in New England’s balanced offense in 2026. The Patriots could still acquire A.J. Brown in the coming weeks depending on the Eagles’ asking price. That move would likely make Doubs a distant WR2 in the Pats offense.
  • NFL Commissioner
The league continues to add regular season games on and around every major American holiday. The Thanksgiving week schedule has changed dramatically over the past decade, with a primetime game added to the Thursday slate and a Black Friday game tacked on for good measure in 2023. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said last year that he would like to add a second Black Friday game to the schedule.
  • LV Defensive End
For now, the Raiders are standing strong on their demand for multiple first rounders for any team interested in taking the perpetually disgruntled Crosby, 28, off their hands after the Ravens backed out of a trade for Crosby on Tuesday. Russini said Wednesday that Crosby’s short-term health prospects are “positive” while concern remains about the long-term outlook for his injured knee. Crosby is reportedly rehabbing in the Raiders facility today as he awaits word on where the Raiders will deal him ahead of the 2026 season.
