There’s good news for Philadelphia Flyers forward Steve Downie today.

The Flyers released a statement saying Downie was out of the hospital and doing well. They also added that Vincent Lecavalier is still day-to-day.

It was just on Saturday the team said Downie would be out indefinitely with a concussion. Him being out of the hospital is at least a good sign that he can recover at home.

In case you’d forgotten, Downie was injured in a fight with Washington Capitals forward Aaron Volpatti on Friday night and was taken to a Philly hospital following the game.
