The Chicago Blackhawks finally have a player headed to Europe, but it won’t be any of their biggest stars.

Matias Strozyk of reports Michael Frolik has signed on with Chomutov in the Czech league to play there during the lockout and could be ready to play by Tuesday. Frolik had five goals and 10 assists for the Blackhawks last season during a disappointing 2011-12 campaign.

Chicago’s biggest stars like Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane have been skating and working out with many other players in Chicago over the past week. Meanwhile, Marian Hossa is still in Europe with his family. Kane has said he’s not sure whether or not he’ll head to Europe during the work stoppage.
