The switch-hitting 32-year-old fantasy star smacked a game-tying double into shallow left field in the fifth inning off Giants starter Landen Roupp before adding a two-run single to left-center field in the sixth against reliever Joel Peguero. He’s hitting a surreal .429 (26-for-61) with three homers and 17 RBI over his last 15 games.

The move is now official. Cease is facing a multi-week absence after suffering a mild hamstring strain during Sunday’s start against the Pirates. The 30-year-old upper-echelon fantasy starter has delivered a strong 3.05 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 92/26 K/BB ratio across 62 innings over 11 starts in his Blue Jays debut this season. The hope for Toronto and fantasy managers is that he’ll be ready to take the ball again when first eligible to return in early June.

Misiorowski won’t get his scoreless month as a result of two singles and an RBI groundout in the sixth today. He had a no-hitter before that and was up to 29 1/3 scoreless innings in May. Overall, he’s allowed 11 hits, walked six and struck out 49 in 31 1/3 innings this month. Misiorowski averaged 101.1 mph with his 73 fastballs today and hit 100 on the gun 57 times. He’s now 5-2 with a 1.83 ERA, if he can stay healthy, the Brewers should have a real shot in October this time around. He’ll face the Astros this weekend.

Alvarez is back at DH and hitting third following a brief one-game absence due to back discomfort. The 28-year-old middle-of-the-order force is hitting .208 (15-for-72) with three homers and four RBI in 21 games since the start of May. Back issues can be tricky and sometimes recurring, but there doesn’t appear to be significant concern moving forward, which is a relief for fantasy managers.

Guerrero receives some extra time off to rest and recover after taking a pitch off his right elbow during Sunday’s series finale against the Pirates. The positive news for the Blue Jays and fantasy managers is that X-rays came back negative for any fractures. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t completely out of the woods yet, but all signs point to him returning to Toronto’s lineup this week. It’ll be Lenyn Sosa taking over at first base in his absence.

Vitiello cautioned that nothing is final, but it does seem more likely than not that Webb returns to the San Francisco rotation in the coming days. The 29-year-old has been out of action since May 6, and reportedly hasn’t dealt with knee pain in any of his starts. Webb might be on a stricter-than-normal pitch count, but there’s still a great chance for him to pick up a win against the lowly Rockies if/when that outing comes to fruition.

Lindor has also resumed baseball activities like fielding grounders and hitting in the cage. The 32-year-old will assuredly need a rehab assignment after missing over a month thus far with his calf strain, but this is the most positive development given for the shortstop since he suffered that injury. If all continues to progress, there’s a good chance that Lindor will be back before the start of July.

Quatraro said that Ragans is feeling the same elbow symptoms that caused him to be placed on the injured list earlier in May. The left-hander pitched well in that outing for Omaha while allowing just a run over 4 1/3 innings, but obviously the elbow trouble means more than those results. He’s going to be shut down from throwing for up to three days, and then the Royals will reevaluate the situation.
