It’s finally happened. Griffin will get his opportunity as Pittsburgh’s top-of-the-order igniter during Tuesday’s showdown against the division-rival Cubs after mostly towards the bottom of the order since being called up last month. The 20-year-old prodigy has put together a couple strong weeks in a row, hitting .296/.356/.432 with 16 runs scored, one homer, seven RBI and five steals in 21 games since the start of May. He’ll pick up a few additional stolen base opportunities out of the leadoff spot, which is nice bonus for fantasy managers.

Lenyn Sosa will make another start at first base in his place. Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters Guerrero was able to hit prior to Tuesday’s contest but is still pretty sore. The 27-year-old franchise cornerstone will miss his second straight contest after being hit by a pitch on the right elbow over the weekend. It’s impossible to rule out a trip to the injured list the longer his absence lingers, but all signs point to Guerrero returning this week, especially since initial X-rays didn’t reveal any fractures. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day heading into Wednesday’s series finale.

Jump will make his major-league debut on Tuesday against the division-rival Mariners with veteran Luis Severino being pushed back an extra day. The 23-year-old southpaw, who was selected in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of LSU, has compiled a solid 4.50 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 56/20 K/BB ratio across 38 innings in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this season. He attacks hitters with an unorthodox delivery and a repertoire that features a mid-90s fastball, a strong curveball and multiple slider variations. Jump projects as more of a mid-rotation starter long term, but he misses enough bats to warrant immediate interest in deeper mixed leagues.

The Brewers estimate that Henderson will return in late June. Tough break for fantasy managers, as Henderson had been rock solid since being called up. He currently boasts a 2.74 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. He’s worth holding in most leagues if you have the injured list spot. Shallow league managers with no injured list spots face a tougher decision.

Soto is back after missing two games due to illness. The Mets are batting him third again, behind Bo Bichette and ahead of A.J. Ewing. Fantasy managers should activate Soto in leagues with daily transactions.

Jump, the 73rd overall pick in the 2024 draft, will presumably go right into the rotation. He had a 4.50 ERA in nine starts in Triple-A, but he had struck out 56 while also walking 20 in 38 innings. It seems unlikely that he’ll be a mixed-league solution right away in a tough situation for pitchers in Sacramento, but he has a chance to be a No. 2 or 3 starter for the A’s in the long run.

Imai authored one of the strangest performances of the season, somehow holding the Rangers hitless for six innings despite issuing four walks and recording just two strikeouts. He threw only 57 of 97 pitches for strikes, but stayed around the zone enough to avoid damage, retiring 15 of the final 16 batters he faced. Okert followed with a scoreless seventh before Santa made his big-league debut, retiring the final six hitters in impressive fashion to complete the first combined no-hitter in the majors since 2024. Imai remains a challenging pitcher to forecast given that he’s barely throwing his splitter in games at this point. He’ll face the Brewers at home to wrap up a two-start week on Sunday.

Schwarber took Padres starter Griffin Canning deep to right field in the opening frame for his first big fly since missing three games due to illness last week. The 33-year-old veteran slugger has done most of his damage since the start of May, leaving the yard an astounding 10 times in 20 contests during that span. He’s spent the last few years cementing his legacy as one of the most consistent power hitters of his generation and is on pace to eclipse the lofty 45-homer plateau for the fourth time in the last five years.

Wood crushed a tone-setting 412-foot leadoff homer to right-center field that left his bat at 107.7 mph, per Statcast. It was his 14th home run of the season and his fourth leadoff blast. He accounted for one of six Nationals homers in a one-sided rout, with Curtis Mead recording his first career multi-homer game while CJ Abrams, Jacob Young and Luis García Jr. also went deep. The 23-year-old emerging franchise cornerstone is putting together a remarkable all-around fantasy campaign, slashing .267/.405/.533 with 47 runs scored, 14 homers, 35 RBI and eight steals through 55 games.

Marte recorded his third consecutive three-hit performance, tallying a season-high four hits in this one, as he continues to snap out of an extended cold spell at the outset of the year. The switch-hitting 32-year-old fantasy star smacked a game-tying double into shallow left field in the fifth inning off Giants starter Landen Roupp before adding a two-run single to left-center field in the sixth against reliever Joel Peguero. He’s hitting a surreal .429 (26-for-61) with three homers and 17 RBI over his last 15 games.
