Ewing lined the solo shot into the right field bullpen at Citi Field, and he’s off to a .333/.538/.889 start with four walks in his first 13 plate appearances and a stolen base. So that’s not bad. We wouldn’t bet on Ewing being a major power source for the Mets given his size and minor league track record, but he certainly gave them a jolt as they swept the Tigers. Snap him up if he wasn’t already picked up in your league.

Bleday took Foster Griffin for a three-run blast in the sun deck in the fourth inning, then added a second one off Zac Kent that barely cleared the right-field fence in Great American Ballpark. Bleday’s now got six homers in 52 at-bats since taking over a real role in late April. There’s nothing that looks completely unsustainable about this -- the expected wOBA is .486. He’ll likely slow down a bit because he’s not this kind of hitter historically, but fantasy managers should come along for the ride while it lasts

Mendoza mentioned that a new MRI on Wednesday showed “signs of healing,” but it sounds like Lindor is at least a month a way from returning, if not more given the potential of a rehab assignment. MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo believes Lindor “figures to miss closer to two months or more.” He’s already missed the last two weeks and change, and that timeline would put him close to a July return.

This is the first time Raleigh has been on the injured list in his MLB career. The 29-year-old missed three games last week with right-side discomfort and was then pulled from last night’s game with the same issue. The fact that he had been trying to play through the discomfort suggests that it may not be a lengthy stay on the IL for Raleigh, but he should be out for a few weeks at least. He needs to be held everywhere, despite his current struggles.

Soto had to leave Wednesday’s game after fouling a ball off his ankle, but the Mets were never overly concerned with the injury and it appears he won’t miss any time. Get him back into your lineups as you would normally.

Ohtani apparently did something new with his splitter tonight, as the seven he threw were up 3.3 mph from his season average. Mostly, though, he used fastballs and sweepers, picking up all eight of his strikeouts with those two offerings. In seven starts this season, he’s allowed no earned runs four times, one earned run twice and two earned runs once. It’s only earned him a 3-2 record, but his ERA is sitting at 0.82. The plan still appears to be for him to get a second straight day off at the plate on Thursday. He’ll be back at DH for the series against the Angels on Friday, and he’ll likely make his next start Tuesday in San Diego.

The slam off Matthew Liberatore was Kurtz’s third in 15 career at-bats with the bases loaded. It was also his first homer in 63 plate appearances against lefties this season. He’s previously gone 7-for-43 with two RBI in his 12 games in which the opposition started a lefty. Fortunately, he’s done plenty of damage against righties along the way, and he’s currently sporting a .267/.418/.453 line for the year.

Teoscar Hernández is at DH with Alex Call taking over in left field. Ohtani had been scuffling at the plate, hitting .200/.321/.300 with one home run over his previous 26 games before going deep off Giants starter Adrian Houser during Tuesday’s contest. The Dodgers are making a concerted effort to reduce the 31-year-old two-way sensation’s workload to keep him fresher at the plate moving forward. He’ll get a full day off Thursday before returning for Friday’s series opener against the Angels.

Brewers skipper Pat Murphy told reporters Yelich, who returned from the injured list during Tuesday’s series opener, is dealing with a little back soreness and they didn’t want to take any chances given his injury history. It sounds like a precautionary move to give him some extra time off and prevent the issue from growing into a larger concern. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day heading into Thursday’s series finale.

It’s an absolute bombshell development after Snelling made his highly-anticipated major-league debut last Friday against the Nationals, allowing three runs over five innings. The 22-year-old top pitching prospect was slated to start Thursday’s series finale against the Twins. There’s no word yet regarding how much time the 22-year-old top prospect will miss, but elbow injuries tend to lead to significant absences, especially when UCL damage is involved. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the coming days. Marlins manager Clayton McCullough told reporters it’ll be veteran lefty Braxton Garrett, who has been outstanding at Triple-A Jacksonville this season, coming up to fill Snelling’s rotation spot.
