Betts is back at shortstop and hitting second in Monday’s series opener against the longtime rival Giants following a five-week absence recovering from an oblique strain. The 33-year-old fantasy stalwart was hitting .179 (5-for-28) with two homers and seven RBI across eight games prior to the injury. He might need time to knock the metaphorical rust off after just a pair of minor league rehab contests following the lengthy layoff. However, his return should provide a massive boost for the Dodgers, and fantasy managers as well.

Not good. Jakob Junis will take the ball to open a bullpen game on Monday night in his place. Eovaldi was in line for a two-start week against Arizona and Houston after spinning an eight-inning masterpiece against the Yankees his last time out. The 36-year-old veteran will presumably undergo imaging to determine the severity of the issue and whether he’ll require a trip to the injured list. His absence means Isaac Paredes will handle the hot corner for the remainder of the year, which is undoubtedly a boost to his fantasy appeal.
