  • MIN Catcher #27
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
This is a brutal blow for Jeffers, who was having his best season ever. The 29-year-old was slashing .295/.408/.541 in 147 plate appearances with seven home runs and 26 RBI. He will be sidelined for a couple of months and could see his power diminished when he does return. Sadly, he doesn’t need to be held in fantasy leagues.
  • MIN 3rd Baseman #23
Just a week after optioning Matt Wallner to the minors, the Twins will do the same with Lewis. The 26-year-old is hitting .163/.261/.279 in 119 plate appearances with three home runs, 13 RBI, and three steals. That also comes with a 31 percent strikeout rate. Lewis has plenty of promise, but the 26-year-old has failed to produce consistently or stay healthy at the MLB level. Tristan Gray started at third base on Monday and could get a chance to fill that role regularly.
  • ATL Catcher #30
Well, this is a bummer. Baldwin has been one of the best catchers in baseball this season, slashing .303/.389/.543 with 13 home runs, 38 RBI, and one steal in 48 games. He ranks first among catchers in home runs, first in runs scored, second in RBIs, and second in wRC+. He needs to be held in all league types, even if you don’t have an IL spot. Hopefully, he can return some time in June.
  • SEA Shortstop #85
Emerson’s first ever MLB hit was a memorable one; a three-run blast that extended Seattle’s lead to 6-1 off Trevor Richards in the eighth inning. The 20-year-old is considered hit above power, but he’s added bulk and certainly has the bat speed to hit for power at the highest level. Emerson is likely to have some ups and downs as a 20-year-old, but there’s significant fantasy upside in his profile.
  • AZ 3rd Baseman #28
Arenado’s slam gave the D-backs a 4-0 lead in the first inning off a completely ineffective Robbie Ray. The 35-year-old has already gone deep seven times this year with a .274/.347/.473 slash to go with those roundtrippers. It’s a far cry from the player Arenado was in Colorado, but that’s more compliment to how good he was there than insult to the first third of this season. This version of Arenado has some fantasy value. The question is will there be a slowdown to the levels he played at in St. Louis the last few campaigns.
  • ATH Starting Pitcher #35
Ginn went from being three outs away from the first no-hitter in 2026 to a loser in the span of two batters. He was dominant over his first eight frames with eight strikeouts and just a walk allowed, but a single by Adam Frazier followed by a two-run blast from Zach Neto ended the night on a sour outcome. It’s also worth pointing out that the A’s didn’t score a run themselves until the ninth inning, so, yeah. Baseball. The ending wasn’t desirable, but it was another quality start from Ginn that sees his ERA dip to 2.98 on the season. He gets the Padres on Saturday.
  • TB 3rd Baseman #13
Caminero extended Tampa Bay’s early lead with 116.8-mph single to left field in the second inning before taking Orioles reliever Cameron Foster deep for a three-run blast in the fifth inning. It was his second consecutive contest with a big fly and his 13th round-tripper of the season. He’s gone deep five times since May 1.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #1
Gore needed 28 pitches to get through his lone inning of work, with his fastball velocity down considerably before he was replaced by reliever Peyton Gray. He was charged with two runs on three hits. He struck out two and also issued a pair of walks. It certainly sounds like a potential injured list situation, but the Rangers are calling his exit precautionary in nature. There should be an update on his status in the coming days once he undergoes further evaluation and imaging to determine the severity of the issue.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #7
Snell will have the same innovative procedure, which is less invasive and uses a smaller incision than a typical arthroscopic surgery, that Tigers ace Tarik Skubal underwent earlier this month. The hope that he’ll be able to return within roughly 4-6 weeks after the procedure. There should be a definitive timetable once he starts ramping up his throwing program in a couple weeks.
  • BAL 2nd Baseman #7
It’s challenging to forecast Holliday making a significant fantasy impact right away since he didn’t exactly tear the cover off the ball during his latest rehab stint in the upper minors. The 22-year-old former top prospect experienced several setbacks during his rehabilitation process and has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery to repair a hamate fracture back in spring training. It may take time to shake off the metaphorical cobwebs, but Holliday should be an impactful fantasy contributor at second base this season, but only if he’s finally put the hand issue to bed. He figures to spend some time at both second and third base with the Orioles over the remainder of the year.
